I haven’t posted any jewelry for quite a while but it comes as no surprise that now that I am, there is labradorite involved. The earrings showcase it in both trillion and drop shapes dangling alongside textured hexagonal heishi beads on black spinel wire-wrapped chain. And the necklace? Simply faceted rondelles intermixed with gold heishi spacers.

By adding a mix of structural, gold spacer beads throughout the strands and adding a toggle clasp/fleur-de-lys pendant and labradorite cube as the focal point, the necklace and bracelet looks modern, making it them easy to wear with anything. This was another necklace that came about by playing around with a variety of different bead colors and shapes - 5 types and three different gold-filled chains, to be exact. It took days to lay out the right distribution balance of bead shapes on my desk and then another few days to get them secured to the chain in a way that actually reflected the design. Since the blue chalcedony cubes are some of that last ones I have in inventory, I’m glad they found a good home.
